Don't try to do too much at first mate. Nice and gentle and don't be surprised if your weight loss slows down or plateaus for a couple of weeks when you start exercising. You will start to change fat to muscle and the muscle is much heavier than the fat. Stick with it and concentrate on you body shape for a while and not just the weight.
Great to hear someone on here getting on with it and not just wingeing about being overweight.

I will be joining in soon as I have this leg sorted out. will be looking to lose around 3 inches from my waist. Don't really worry about the weight meself. It will come off over time as I exercise.

power to your elbow and keep going.

In response to:Another day

Man, not so much weak but god I feel hungry, the worst thing is when you get on the scales the next morning and it looks like you have put on weight! Still I'm going back today, its gonna be a long slog

In response to:Another day

Not bad at all. But don't you feel hungry and weak some times?

In response to:The quest continues

Does anyone, apart from the manufacturers, know what Quorn is? Your name isn't very permanent, though, sir. When you are fit, it'll become obsolete, and you'll have to abandon it - you couldn't walk around with dignity as a 12 stoner with a name like that. Is 12st a reasonable weight to aim for? I don't know - I haven't properly learnt that part of human nature yet.

All the best for your journey,
